Living with the good, the bad and the ugly in front of the world while still finding a way to be great living and playing through the good, the bad and the ugly.

Being a public figure or star athlete comes with a lot of highs but it also comes with a lot of eyes when living your life for all to see. Today we are sitting with MLB All-Star Chicago White Sox Short Stop Tim Anderson who has earned the respect on the field as one of the top players in the game and also become a well known face in Chicago for his efforts in the community.

Wanting to chop it up with Tim for awhile now, this conversation comes at a time where recently, the headlines of Tim haven't been about hitting home runs, making double plays or wins and losses but rather about the type of family man he is as a husband and father. Ryan, Channing and Fred open up with Tim in a conversation amongst men about the personal struggles that are faced in marriage, parenting and living life in the public eye. Tim shares his truth about his own journey away from baseball and how despite what goes on off the field, the responsibility to show up and perform every single day for his team, his teammates, the fans and give 100% focus and effort.

Being black in baseball is not the norm and Tim has taken his on field skill and success into creating an opportunity for the sport to embrace the culture. Known for his flare of flipping bats and confident swagger on the field, Tim has carved a niche in the sport allowing young black kids from around the world to realize that playing baseball at this high level can be their reality too.

Sharing stories of growing up in Alabama and pain from his childhood of father being in prison and being raised by his aunt, Tim talks about the importance of being a present dad and active in his children's life and teaching them to grow through love and understanding.
