Callum McGregor accepts that it's not enough for Scotland to just be at Euro 2024 - they need to prove they belong at tournaments on a regualr basis.

A nightmare start in Munich has dented hopes of making it out of Group A, but not obliterated them completely. Switzerland and Hungary are next up and Scotland need at least four points to stay in the hunt.

And while McGregor doesn't dismiss the achievement of qualifying, not competing now we're on the big stage isn't acceptable.

The Celtic skipper said: "It's not enough to just qualify. Everybody wants more. That's the way of the world now. When you get here, everbody wants you to progress. As professionals, we want to progress and get better but we understand there's a lot of work to be done."
