Indonesia is an ecological, geological and cultural wonderland. It’s made up of over 17,000 islands, that are home to more than 300 tonic groups and 140 something volcanoes (one of which has made the perfect setting for the bagpipes!).

In 2018 Travis Bluemling and I headed to the Island of East Java, which was Travis’ old stomping ground, but for me a bunch of incredible and very new experiences.

I cannot wait to get back to East Java, or Indonesia in general. Fingers crossed 2021 brings more luck with travel.
