From the lackluster plot and mediocre fight scenes to the underutilized villains and disappointing character development, Shazam Fury of the Gods tried to do too much but ultimately fell flat. Even the returning cast members, including Zachary Levi as the titular hero, couldn't save this lackluster sequel.
