The on-going war in Ukraine seemed to have started on February 24 of 2022. In reality, though, it had started long before this day, even before the events of 2014 with Crimea and all that. It’s hard to believe nowadays, but Russia and Ukraine were once very close and friendly. The relationship was all warm and fuzzy. But something happened.
Why did Putin decide to invade his neighbour? Why did Russia lose such a close friend of a country? Why did such a perfect relationship crumble down? What… went… wrong?
