Driven by a passion for telling stories that spotlight modern social issues through the lens of comedy, Ash Blodgett is an award-winning director who was born and raised in Napa, CA, and is now based in Ventura. After finding her love of filmmaking by attending a high-school video production class, she earned her BA in Cinematography and Film/Video Production at Brooks Institute of Photography in Ventura, CA.

Ash serves as a live-action director for LinkedIn Learning, where she has directed over 100 online courses viewed by hundreds of thousands of learners. She honed her documentary production skills as the video editor for reality-TV series Full Custom Garage and was as a cinematographer for the documentary series Behind the Rings: Exploring Olympic Design. Ash’s short film, Zombie Debt, premiered at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival and won six awards after playing in 17 film festivals. In 2020, she received a Wonder Woman Award for her work on a film for the L.A. Under the Stars Film Festival and in 2022, was accepted into the prestigious Women in Film Mentoring Program.
