The Hang Tuah Foundation Surabaya Branch is an organization engaged in the field of education, obliged to participate in preparing human resources to be ready in facing all challenges in the future. Junior High School education activities are one of secondary education provided to the community to jointly prepare young generation candidates who are qualified and able to answer life's challenges and be able to compete with other nations. This is expected to be able to bring Indonesia towards a developed and prosperous country.

With the development and economic growth that is very good in Sidoarjo Regency, as well as the development of the existing population, the availability of education units, especially Junior High Schools in the community is not sufficient to accommodate existing students, especially in the Sedati and surrounding areas.

Therefore, the Surabaya Hang Tuah Foundation established the Excellent 6 Hang Tuah Middle School as a manifestation of its concern for the world of education, especially in the Sidoarjo regency and its surrounding areas which desperately needed a quality and easy to reach school.

With the existence of the Excellent 6 Hang Tuah Middle School, we hope that the surrounding community will get education with high quality and maritime characteristics.
