Join us as we walk you through how to brew a delicious English Porter!

The English Porter is a dark brown, mild-strengthed English ale with a prominent malt profile consisting of chocolate, coffee, and caramel notes. It has a balanced, but restrained, bitterness with light spicy/earthy notes in the aroma and flavor. This style is a wonderful addition to any dark beer lover's tap list.

Follow along with us as we walk you through our ingredients, including the malts, hops, water profile, and yeast strain. We will also show you our process, including the mashing profile, mash out, sparging, the boil, the whirlpool, knockout, the fermentation profile, and last but not least, the taste test.
