After months of waiting, here is the V2 of my popular Wavetech Wool Farm!

This farm is the fastest, most compact, simple to build and most importantly LAG EFFICIENT 1024 Sheep Wool Farm design. It produces ~54,000 items per hour--that's almost 2 shulker boxes of each wool color PER HOUR!

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ::

Make sure when loading sheep into the system and before pushing the glass into their head to line them up against the fence!

!! Make sure you do NOT put baby sheep into this system! They WILL misalign upon aging! !!

I didn't want to claim this was the fastest 1024 sheep farm in the game but it's faster than every farm I compared it to--if you find one faster I'd love to hear about it! Regardless, this is THE MOST lag efficient wool farm you'll find. 0 flashing dust, halved (and locked!) hoppers, no hopper minecarts, the works. The 100% locked hopper claim applies only to the farm, however, seeing as your choice for storage is optional. However, even if you include the box unloader, it is 97.5% hopper locked at all times.

This is a passive sheep farm, meaning no feedtapes or bonemeal farms. The current pod setup has such an incredibly rapid grass growing rate that it's really only bottlenecked by the sheep's task timer for feeding so it not only matches up, but is actually FASTER, than any other farm I've compared it with.

The reason I mentioned 1.17 in the beginning is mob task finding changed in that update and halved the rates of farms like wool farms. This farm theoretically should work in earlier versions (slime and panes instead of honey, of course) and the rates should be double. I haven't tested that yet though, so take that claim with a grain of salt.

I cannot stress enough how good of an idea it is to fill up the shears as you build this farm rather than let the shear restocking system load the entire system from the ground up. It will work, but the time and toll it'll take due to the amount of items is paiiiiinful.

If you choose to have an even amount of each sheep color then you'll have 64 sheep of each color. That's one row of each color--I suggest you dye them before you load the system with shears because once it starts you'll rarely see their wool color again.

The comment at (0:25) is referring to the chances of an item, while having upwards momentum, of potentially glitching out of the collection area and into the shear restocking troughs. The chances of this are almost nil and the consequences are so tiny that you shouldn't have to worry about this.

The comment about replacing internal honey with panes works, but I prefer using honey. You should be safe with panes, though, but don't come crying if it causes headaches.

The diamond block and the little piston circuit under the farm are the two best places to AFK.

The storage (thanks again to Kiku and Oriol!) was a last second addition (literally 16ish hours before this video goes up) so if you encounter bugs please let me know and I'll fix any issues with haste!
