For the second day of me and ‪@porthurondetroitr.r.8861‬’s trip to Indiana, we post up at Pine Junction in Gary. Which is just outside of CN’s Kirk Yard, and features the NS Chicago Line, the CSX Barr Subdivision, and the CN Matteson Subdivision. This junction can be pretty busy at certain times of the day, and we caught 18 trains between 10:09am and 1:01pm.



Our day didn’t end here either, we checked out a few spots in the East Chicago area and caught a few more trains before getting on I94 to head back home. I’ll be posting one or two of those thursday!
