I often demonstrate the use of keyboard shortcuts since they are such great timesavers, and I have also demonstrated how to customize them to your liking. Previous MuseScore 4 versions required the use of a mouse to define keyboard shortcuts, which was a very unfortunate irony and a major accessibility limitation for blind users, but MuseScore Studio 4.3.1 finally lifts that restriction. In this video post, I walk through the process of defining a keyboard shortcut using the keyboard only. Sighted users are of course welcome to use the mouse as well (portions of the process are more efficient that way), but even more than usual, I wanted to be sure this demonstration was clear and usable for all.
