This fall Salmon season has been my best yet, with tons of Coho, Pink, and Chinook Salmon caught on the Tidal Fraser River, the Chilliwack / Vedder, The Stave, the Squamish, and other smaller tributaries.

As the 2023 fall season winds down, I headed back to a spot in the Fraser Valley that had been producing fresh Coho salmon for me the previous week. I started the morning at first light tossing spinners and spoons, and soon switched to what was working for me before -- twitching a tiny jig.

I tied on a 1/8oz jig, made a cast, and had a fish on. Unreal.

The fish I caught were super fresh, but strictly Jacks this time around. Chasing coho this late in the season when the fish are so scattered around has taught me the importance of changing up the presentation and really covering the water.

I've got (at least) one more Coho Salmon video on the way still, so make sure you subscribe to see that one soon!

Thanks for watching.
