Hey everyone, Michael Hammond here for your marketing moment. Today, I want to dive deeper into AI. I know AI is all the buzzword and everything, but let's start drilling down and getting specific. I have frequently used this quote: "AI won't take your job. People who know how to use AI will."

AI is not going away. You can put your head in the sand and hope it will go away, but it's not going away—just like the internet didn't. All of those myths and misconceptions—like "it sounds like this" or "it doesn't sound like me"—are often just excuses. There are ways to learn how to get past that. But it all starts with understanding how to prompt. It's called prompt engineering.

The people who are going to win in AI are going to be those who are subject matter experts in their field and have mastered the art of prompting. So, let's go through some specifics. When you're prompting, you want to start with what role you want AI to act in.

For example, you might say: "Act as a social media, content creation, and digital marketing expert."Then, you specify what you need:"I need you to create 10 LinkedIn posts for a campaign targeting first-time home buyers."

You have to be specific about the context and what you're looking for it to produce. Also, give it some tone and rules: "They need to be brief, highly compelling, professional, engaging, and with a touch of humor."

There are two main ways to approach prompting: the mega prompt and prompt chaining. With the mega prompt, you put in all the details at once. With prompt chaining, you break it down into steps:
"I need a title for my next podcast."
"Write a brief description based on this title."
"Create social posts to promote this podcast."

Both methods can be highly effective. Remember, you've got to start leaning into AI. It's not going to go away. One of the biggest excuses I hear is, "It doesn't sound like me." There are prompts you can use to adjust this.

If you want the prompt so you don't sound like AI wrote it, DM me, and I'll gladly send it to you.

We've got to help one another and embrace AI if we're going to move forward in this industry. Let's lean in together and make great things happen. Go out there, have an amazingly blessed day, and always add value.
