I visited the GCR 'Railways at Work' Gala mainly for 6990 (6988 in this gala for it's return) and to see what the gala was all about but I never expected it to ooze atmosphere like it did! If you ever visit the GCR, This gala and the seasonal galas are my pick for a visit! We did run slightly late but at the end of the day time was made up and no trains were cancelled so happy days!
