For some while, my water heater had been working intermittently and then stopped altogether. I decided to investigate, disconnected it, and then removed it from its awkward position in the engine bay. With help from a fellow boater, it was dismantled, examined and the fault was found to be a worn-out burner and defective glow plug. This is not an instructional video, but I do give a step-by-step account of how we went about replacing the burner, refitting the heater and getting it operational.
