*What Femke Bol JUST DID To Sydney McLaugh-Levrone Is INSANE - Track and Field 2024*

When America’s hurdling star Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone clocked a world-leading time of 52.70 seconds in her 400 hurdles debut at the 2024 Edwin Moses Legends Meet, the track community was very excited. And that’s understandable considering that it’s been nearly two years since McLaughlin-Levrone last competed over the 400-meter hurdles. Of course, last season McLaughlin did not participate in her favorite 400 hurdles event rather opted to go for the open 400 meters. Unfortunately, an injury prevented her from competing at the World Championships in Budapest despite having performed pretty well in the USATF Championships.
However, her world-leading time of 52.70 seconds did not live longer, and a couple of days later she was dethroned by none other than Dutch sprint sensation, Femke Bol. At the 2024 European Athletics Championships in Rome, Bol obliterated the field winning the women’s 400 hurdles in a new season’s best and championship record of 52.49 seconds. The epic performance by Femke Bol produced the new world-leading time, completely smashing Sydney McLaughlin’s previous world lead.
