First part of a never ending T4 journey.

I start the video by working on the passenger side step. It's very rusty and needs a lot of the rust cut out and removed. I keep the bits for templates later.
I show the quality of the previous owners shoddy repairs by highlighting how they've cataloyed over toilet tissue. Shocking!!
I use my Silverline finger sander to clean up the inside of the step up to a shiny finish. Then i apply some Bilt Hamber Deox gel as part of its rust treating. Then i leave it overnight.
The next day I wipe away any residue left behind and apply 2 coats of Bilt Hamber Etchweld weld through primer.
I use the rusty piece of step id previously removed as a template to fabricate a replacement piece from sheet steel.
I then coat the fabricated part in weld through primer and weld it in, clean up the welds then coat with Bilt Hamber Electrox zinc primer.
I use my grinder to remove more of the steep and then fabricate more of the step.
