This 'green pill' is not one you swallow, instead you drop it into hot water. The exterior is made of gelatine, which gradually dissolves in the hot water, and once the gelatine is gone, it allows the creature inside to emerge. It ends up quite a lot larger, although Tim has not managed to identify what creature it is! But things that get larger is the theme of this video.

Tim used to be a children's entertainer, and balloons (which get larger when inflated) were often a staple of any show.

Instead of inflating with air, Tim demonstrates some tiny spheres which if you leave them in water for a day or so end up growing to an enormous size. And if you leave them out in the air, they shrink back to their original tiny size!

A flat disc pops up into a cylinder which is actually a kite.

Tim's top hat starts out flat, and can be made to pop up when needed.

A card castle where you just have to lift the top card, and it appears.

Finally, Tim demonstrates the amazing Hoberman Sphere, designed by Chuck Hoberman.

'Magical' says Tim!
