I continue to improve the interior of the cabin with pink fiberglass insulation while enduring well below freezing temperatures. Still without proper heat or sleeping quarters nor shelving or storage of any kind, yet....

If you are new to my channel, I am building a small cabin in the Canadian wilderness all by myself, with no heavy machinery.

Using only a couple chainsaws (my Echo CS-501P and Husky 120 mark II) and a variety of hand tools (machette, log cant and log peavey, 6lb sledgehammer, 36" axe, hookaroon, shovels and pick axes/adze and more). In addition, I saved up and purchased four Dewalt cordless power tools:

1. Impact driver
2. Drill/driver
3. Circular saw
4. Jigsaw

I bought each of these separately over a 4 month period. l also use a number of builders tools including speed square, carpenters square, assorted length levels, F and C clamps and more.

In the beginning I only had 10% of these tools and slowly purchased more as my budget permitted. If you are going to do the entire build yourself, then you must pace yourself and your wallet!
