It's summer, so it's becoming an annual pilgrimage to ride my Triumph Bonneville T120 over the Pen-Y-Pass past Snowdon.

I'd actually been out scouting roads for a future motorcycle tour route, 150 miles of winding Welsh roads that are best experienced on two wheels. It's an idea that I've been toying with for a while now, and although there are lots of folk that offer this sort of tour experience, I still want to make my own path, an official 'Classic Ride' if you will.

It's just an idea, but it's also a perfect excuse to get the bike packed up and head off out to the mountains, any excuse will do really.
