I grew up listening to my mom cover The Road's My Middle Name and a few other gems of hers. When I was little I didn't know what Bonnie Raitt looked like, and would hear here album on the radio and I assumed it was my mom! So in my mind as a child, my mom was Bonnie Raitt.
