My name is Tom Hougaard. I'm a professional trader. I've been trading for nearly 24 years. So I've been using price action through the noughts, but it wasn't really until Al Brooks began to publish some articles in Futures Magazine it was. And here's someone who's actually verbalized what I've been seeing for years, but haven't really had the, shall we say, the vocabulary to put into into human speech.

When we look back at this era, I think Al Brooks is going to go down in that hall of fame of the one person who has done the most for understanding and disseminating price charts. He has taken that leap of, Bollinger Bands, alright, fine. Fibonacci, fine. Volume, fine. But actually, the God of trading is price.

And in there lies price action. I'm personally a huge fan of Al Brooks. I may not necessarily trade how he does, but I don't think anybody ever trades exactly like their own mentor. You, you take on board what it is that you feel you to take on board and then you adjust it to suit your own style, your own personality.

But at the bottom line, there's this, this father of price action who has put together, you know, not just one Bible, but three Bibles of price action. It's not casual reading to pick up an Al Brooks book and flick through over the week and go, Oh yeah, that was quite right. And then on Monday morning, you're ready to trade price action.

It takes a lot of effort and that's a good thing because the barrier to entry is high. But because the barrier to entry is high, it's also worth pursuing because the reward is so much greater than if you just pick up a, like a weekend course that promises to make you a millionaire come Monday morning, right?

So for that, I am really grateful to have come across him as many years ago as I did, but also grateful that he continues to contribute to the understanding of price action.
