So is this Quality fade or is it planned obsolescence?
My guess is, it’s a little bit of both, maybe it started as a quality fade, but since it has been like this now for a couple of years, the problem may actually be helping their bottom line by selling more products. And as long as there are enough older users that have grown up with their products there is a certain built in customer base that will be there for a couple of more years. Now will they attract any new customers with this approach. I would say 100% no. If these would have been my first Time pedals I ever purchased, I would have run for the hills and bought any else and never these again.
