Mowgli is the infant son of a scientist, brought to the jungle as his father is on a research mission there. He wanders off from his parents and is followed by Shere Khan, a tiger who wants to eat him! Luckily, Baloo the bear, Baghera the panther and Kaa the python, defend the Mowgli and he is then adopted by a family of wolves and raised by them.
