I can’t believe it’s been 10 days since I’ve checked in with ya’ll. It’s been busy, but I always say that. It happens.

Here’s a few topics for some thought and discussion. Not hating, gossiping or anything of the sort. But just questioning a few internet trends lately.

Also, the ever so crucial framework and sequence of the life changing approach to what people now call the “CAGED” system. It’s not new and it’s not going anywhere.

It’s the house analogy that I use that will speed up your journey and understanding of the fretboard.

1) The chord is the concrete slab foundation.

2) The arpeggio is the 2x4 framework

3) The pentatonic is the sheet rock

4) The major scale is the wall paper

5) Improvising and phrasing are the artwork and furniture
