Part Two of an interview with rock legend Steve Miller by Dan McClosky (11/2022). Steve talks about meeting and learning from T-Bone Walker, discusses his musical influences, his high-school blues band and the Texas music and bar scene, backing up Jimmy Reed at 14, his college blues band with Boz Scaggs, his years in Chicago playing at blues clubs and hanging with Paul Butterfield, James Cotten, Buddy Guy and Junior Wells, and his eventual move to San Francisco, where he formed a band that played at clubs and dance halls including the Family Dog/Avalon Ball Room and Fillmore Auditorium.
