I nabbed the platinum trophy in (in order) Dark Souls, Dark Souls 2, Bloodborne, Elden Ring, Demon's Souls, and Dark Souls 3. My method was, play the game without any guides for 90% of the first run, then check a guide near the end to see what I can clean up in NG versus what I need to complete in NG+. This affected how I play in a big way--I knew not to EVER use boss souls in case they needed to go toward a specific collection, and I quickly learned to warp around the world scanning for new NPC placements + dialogue after any major event.

Let's review the platinum trophy experience together. Elden Ring was really not a bad one aside from the game's size; it's the Dark Souls series itself that seems to give the toughest go.
