A beautiful smoked chuck roast cooked on a Z Grills Pellet Grill. I used the Z grills L600E (https://zgrills.com/collections/basic...) for this cook and was delighted with how well it performed!

The chuck roast was rubbed with Steer Seasoning by Meat Mitch and smoked at 180F for three hours using hickory pellets.

After the chuck was smoked for three hours at 180F it was smoked at 275F for two hours and then wrapped in foil for another 90 minutes.

The smoked chuck roast had incredible color, wonderful smoke flavor and tasted amazing. Smoking a chuck is so much more fun than fooling around with a brisket!

This pellet grill smoked chuck was a huge hit and we will be cooking this again soon!
