Our exploration of Ghent continues as we discover more about its history, university, and everything else that the city has to offer. Among other things, we wander around in the many halls and rooms of the St. Peter's Abbey. We also make it all the way to Friday Square, the place where England officially became a country.

If you love history, we assure you there's lots to enjoy in this video. Who knew Ghent had a connection to Edward III and Joan of Arc, of all people? To be honest, we didn't expect much of the capital of East Flanders, but we were pleasantly surprised by its architecture, historical places, and museums. Although it was a very industrial city, you wouldn't really be able to tell that nowadays. Ghent has become quite an elegant city full of things to discover.

If you're thinking about exploring Belgium, make sure to put Ghent on your list of places to discover :) We doubt you'll be disappointed!
