Our journey through Corsica continues! In this video, we take you to explore some of the most breathtaking places on this island in the Mediterranean Sea. We start with a hike in the Capu Rossu region to the Torra de Tughju, one of the impressive Genoese towers that have stood the test of time. The view from the top is breathtaking and makes every step of the walk worthwhile. As could not be otherwise on a road trip through Corsica, we drove a lot due to the French island's mountainous terrain, but driving in Corsica is synonymous with many incredible landscapes. Before arriving at our next destination, we saw a lot of blue sea and different vegetation and even passed through Ajaccio, the island's capital and birthplace of Napoleon Bonaparte. Our next stop on the island, the Aiguilles de Bavella, showed that Corsica has a lot to offer besides beaches. This set of mountains marks the horizon in the landscapes of southern Corsica, but here on our channel you can see them up close. There, we tried some typical Corsican food before continuing on the road. Our last stop of the day was the charming Bonifacio. Its ancient citadel was built on top of the cliffs, which gives the place a totally special charm. It is also home to an important Corsican port, where there are plenty of nice restaurants to go out at night. Don't miss a moment of this series!
