Articulated buses Santiago de Chile (2023): Caio Mondego II & Marcopolo Torino on route 104

Special video with articulated buses from Santiago de Chile, in the new public transport system RED Metropolitana de Movilidad (or RED Santiago). I made recordings in Providencia and Puente Alto of the articulated buses of the route 104 Providencia - Puente Alto, one of the most important routes and which has the largest fleet of articulated buses in Santiago.
Specifically, we see two types or models of articulated buses: Caio Mondego II units with Mercedes Benz O500UA chassis, year 2023, and Marcopolo Torino units with Mercedes Benz O500UA chassis, year 2019. I made a trip Providencia - Puente Alto in one of the buses Marcopolo Torino, and on the way back I made another short trip between Puente Alto on one of the Caio Mondego II buses.
These buses with Mercedes Benz O500UA chassis have a Mercedes Benz OM936 LA 6-1 Euro VI engine, with 260 kw of power. Articulated buses can carry between 150 and 160 passengers, with a length of 18.6 meters.
