निर्मल नाम का एक युवक डॉक्टर बन जाता है और नंद गाँव में अपनी प्रैक्टिस शुरू करता है। उसकी मुलाकात मशहूर गायिका अनुराधा रॉय से होती है और उसे उससे प्यार हो जाता है और दोनों शादी कर लेते हैं। अनुराधा ने गाना छोड़ दिया और गृहिणी बन गयी। वह जल्द ही एक बेटी को जन्म देती है। लेकिन तभी घटनाओं का एक बवंडर घटित होता है जिससे उसकी शादी खतरे में पड़ जाती है।

Nirmal, a young man becomes a doctor, and starts his practice in Nand Gaon. He meets Anuradha Roy, a well-known singer and falls in love with her and they both get married. Anuradha gives up her singing and becomes a housewife. She soon gives birth to a daughter. But then a whirlpool of events occur which jeopardize her marriage.
