Dawn and Ray Simmons are the parents of nine children. Three of their nine children, Kamryn, Lindy and Christopher, died in a car accident when hit by a drunk driver. Dawn survived the accident, as well as Christopher's girlfriend, Marissa. Dawn and her daughter, Katie DeRouen, have made it their mission to bring awareness to the devastation and ripple effect of drunk driving and to honor the memories of all three children.
