I installed an automatic electric drain valve on my air compressor so I wouldn't have to bend down and drain the water from the air compressor ever again. Not draining your air compressor can cause excessive water to build up in the tank and cause all sorts of problems. It's not good for your air tools and can cause failure of the tank due to rusting.

Face it, manually draining the tank is a pain in the butt and you probably don't do it as often as you should. This will automate the process of having to manually drain the tank and keep it purged of water buildup.

The entire process took about 45 minutes from start to finish and was was under $50 for everything. Check out the video of me getting mine installed and see the initial testing of it once it was completed.
