Sparse allocation is a method for distributing genotypes/breeding lines in a field trial experiment across multiple locations. This method can be useful in experiments where seed quantities are limited and can increase efficiency and selection intensity. FielDHub now has functionality in both the app and the R package to create experimental designs using sparse allocation.
