Fast flow segments, short burst technical climbs and lots of rocks to weave in and out of. What could be more enjoyable? This short loop at the Hawes trail head starts you running South East on the Hawes trail. After a couple miles you climb up a nice steep hill to a stunning overlook. Taking a left at the next junction sends you down the Saddle trail. Saddle is a fun flow trail with small rock features and nice banked curves. Towards the end of Saddle you hit Devil's Gulch. A fun gnarly black diamond descent that will test your slow speed skills through narrow rock segments. Lastly take Saguaro down a super fast flow segment till you hit Upper Ridge. Upper Ridge is the final descent with amazing pumpy curves and small rock gardens. This whole loop can be completed in a mere 50 minutes covering a total of 8 miles. Many other great trails exist in the area for bikers who want to add to the loop and extend their ride.
