After years of preparation, I am happy to announce the launch of our new online building permit application and review platform. This modernized system is designed to streamline the City’s permit process, making it faster and more efficient for all. The first phase of the rollout is now live, and the following permit types are available through the new system:

Fence, Window, and Door Permits
Driveway & Roof Permits
Air Conditioning & Mechanical Permits
Plumbing Permits
Electrical Permits
Demolition Permits

As we prepare for the second phase next year, our existing ePermit and Express Same Day Permitting Services will remain in place for other permit types. It’s an exciting step forward for our city! For more details visit the city website or call 954-921-3335, Option 2.

In addition to the Accela launch, we are enhancing customer service, accessibility, and efficiency by expanding the second floor of the Hollywood Branch Library at City Hall Circle. This new space will house Building Permits, Engineering, Transportation and Mobility, Planning and Zoning, and Housing and Community Development. The layout is designed to make navigating City services simpler and faster.
