So we know we love vintage hair, but which decade are we really emulating? Today, I thought I would use some of my vintage hair magazines, all from the month of love...February…to compare some of the similarities and differences of hairstyles of the 1930s, 1940s, 1950s and 1960s.


This video is a little dip of your toe into mid 20th century hairstyles and what they really looked like.


How were 1930s hairstyles different from the way women wore their hair in the 1940s? When did Victory Rolls become a popular hairstyle? Were 1950s hairstyles really different from 1940s hair? 1960s hair was so big. How did women get that shape?
