I decided to get Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League just for shits and giggles and to see how bad the game truly was. I got this game ironically just for laughs, I didn't buy the game for serious reasons. Sure, I have been liking and enjoying the game, but only because of the absurdiness of it. Now, why did I buy the game? I just did it for laughs. I only wanted the game so I could laugh at the decisions that were made. Have you never bought a bad game in a ironic manner? If I ever got Superman 64, I'd play it just to laugh at it. So, I am only playing it just because of how bad it is. That is the only reason.

I have been enjoying this game, in a very ironic way. It is genuinely bad, yes, but it being bad makes the game all that more fun. I only wanted this game for the sole reason of playing it ironically - to laugh at the design choices. Now, I was initially super on board with this game, and I mean that in a very serious way. This game looked like it was shaping up to be something very special from the trailers. But, alas, the details were discovered, and many of us were turned off and didn't want to play the game. We were, to put it simply, very disappointed with what we were told - the game was going to be yet another live service game. Everyone groaned when we found out and turned away, and many of us stopped looking forward to it.

The traversal and combat is good, but the actual story is lacking in so many departments. The actual gameplay is decent, but the story is... yeouch. Definitely not up to quality with Rocksteady's usual titles like the Batman Arkham series. In fact, this game is supposedly set in the Arkham universe. And to be honest, the game fails to meet any of the expectations of any of the Arkham games, and it even fails to meet standard expectations. It is just a 3rd-person action-adventure shooter with a lackluster story about the Suicide Squad getting recruited by an FBI agent and setting out on a mission to kill the Justice League. It is kinda sad and disappointing that this game was the last time we ever got to hear Kevin Conroy's voice as Batman. This game, right here, was his farewell? His swan song? I was extremely disheartened by this. Genuinely.

I was initially going to get this game through Prime Gaming since it was free for Prime Day, but past complications with Amazon charging us constantly even though we repeatedly cancelled Prime turned me off from getting a free trial and my dad just ended up buying me a digital Steam code. $70 for a Rocksteady game with a lackluster story, bad design choices, and lack of support? Yeah, no thanks. I'm not paying $70 if the game is in this state. That's why we bought a digital Steam code elsewhere while it was on sale. This game has literally only been out for 6 months so far and it has already had huge price slashes, a huge drop in player count, and literally was a free game on Prime Gaming. Literally has only been out for half a year so far and huge sales are happening on it and it was literally given away for free. And barely anyone is playing it on Steam, now. It makes me worry about the future of this game, and the future, so far, doesn't look bright for it. I honestly won't be surprised if the promised Offline Mode never comes out for the game and the game eventually gets shut down at some point in the near future due to the lack of support.

So that's why I got the game and recorded footage of it. For one, so I could suffer through the game and show you my experience with it, and two, so you also don't have to suffer through it yourself. You should not have to pay $70 to experience the game and its incredibly lackluster story, so that's why I am saving you the time and money and playing it for myself. But, if you really want to play this and give it a shot, I'd highly encourage you to wait for another free offer or wait for a huge sale. This is not worth the $70 price tag and nor is it worth a regular AAA price at $60. But, with the way the future of this game is looking so far, there might be a lot more sales and offers, and I mean, a lot. Don't waste your money on this game and wait for a sale or another free offer.

Please enjoy. And welcome to Task Force X... I guess.
Well, enjoy it if you can, that is.

NOTE: I don't get why they're working for the literal military, either, apart from dealing with the Justice League, which is the main mission. Your guess is as good as mine. :/
