A brief tour of the Jaz Bluemarine Hotel Hurghada in November 2022 and room 6123, also the Aquamarine, they seem to merge into one big resort.

2 top tips when travelling here 1: take some change in you own currency, we were slightly caught out by this! when we got onto the bus transfer (with TUI) a man put our suitcases on the bus then demanded a tip, luckily we had a bit of change, you soon find out that everybody wants a tip, even in the airport toilets! not as bad on the resort as you just tip at the ened of your holiday if you are happy with the service and room cleaning etc, which we were very happy.
Top tip 2: take mosquito bite relief, we do not usually get bitten but were an all inclusive buffett for the little critters ths time, there is a pharmacy at the front of the hotel but it cost us £32 for some spray and cream!

The hotel is very very clean, most of the staff are very friendly and helpful.

There are lots of pools to choose from and you do not need to get up early to put your towels on sunbeds as there are hundreds of them!

We ended up going down to the beach for the last 3 days as it is the hotels beach so no extra for the sunbeds, the atmosphere was better and the beach bar and restaurant was brilliant, better food for lunch, plus you can lay back and relax while the drink is bought to you.

Our room was very clean, fresh bottles of water are replenished every day and are available at all the bars. I would recommend asking reception to empty the fridge on the first day if you do not want to be tempted, as the contents of the fridge are chargable. There is also a free safe in the room.

The Four Corners Restaurant seems to be mainly aimed at families with children, very spacious but very noisy! Very good food though.

The restaurant above the reception we found to be best for breakfast as the service was better and food great.
The Topaz we found better for dinner time. You get 1 free A La Carte meal during your stay , we tried the Eastern Mediteranian but was very dissapointed, very cold and no flavour in the food, so were offered another and took the Chinese, this was the best meal of the week, loved it!

Overall the hotel was fantastic for couples and familes alike, we would certainly go again.

If you have never travelled through Hurghada airport before then just be patient and prepare to wait for a couple of hours, going through numerous passport controls and remove your belts etc 3 times before you get through! Plus tip 3 would be take a pen, you need to fill in visa forms on the plane plus again at the airport on the way out.
