Taiwan is a country in the East Asia.. considered one of the most underrated destinations as it is often overlooked by most tourists.

During my short visit in Taiwan, this country took me by surprise as it offered a unique combination of spectacular sceneries, cultural wealth, vibrant city life and superb cuisine.. not to mention that you get a big bang to your buck due to its fairly cheap accommodation, food and attractions.. which is why I could say Taiwan deserves a higher rank in your travel list.

Not included in my list is the Taroko National Park.. definitely in my bucket list the next time I come back. There was an earthquake a month before my visit and the roads going to Taroko were closed for restoration.
