Our time in Berlin had some high highs and the lowest of lows. Between the recent history on display, the overall vibe of the city, and a situation we'll explain next week, much of these 5 days in Berlin were overshadowed by a very somber feeling. AND YET, we still saw some memorable things here -- some we were expecting, others we stumbled upon. It wasn't the Christmas in Germany we expected to have, but Berlin provided enough light to get us through the darkness and keep moving forward.
