We hike the Petroglyph Trail located in the Lyman Lake State Park. Historic sites, gradual inclines, and declines requiring good footwear. Be sure to bring along some water and take it slow. Plenty of scenic views from atop Petroglyph Peninsula, especially the view to the south looking towards The White Mountains.

Located equally between Springerville and St. Johns this state park is worthy of a day trip or extended camping adventure.
