The stripped out rounded bolt does not mean the projects over, but you definitely have to take a different approach. These are some of the techniques that are I necessity for getting these rusty nuts and bolts off. Just because you are able to break the bolts loose doesn’t mean you’re done. The rust builds up which can cause the bolt to lock up. If you don’t spend the boat the other way chances are you’re going to break the bolt or round the bolt even more.
