This particular Porsche 993 Carrera Cabriolet started out as a normal, North American Market, production example with an order that originated on March 7th, 1995. The order was initiated by Jack Daniels Porsche, which at the time was located in Fair Lawn, New Jersey. The order was placed on behalf of Mr. Bruno Gaetano of 122 Illinois Avenue, Paterson, New Jersey. The order included five Porsche “Exclusive” department, deviation options that took the car off the production line for a short period of time and a total of 42, mostly standard production line options that were incorporated in the the vehicle’s assembly. The production time was delayed for two weeks due to the fitting of the “Exclusive” department options and the Porsche internal assembly records indicate a completion date of March 23rd, 1995.

The vehicle was shipped later in March and invoiced new on April 28th with delivery one week later on May 5th, 1995. Mr. Gaetano took delivery with 38 miles recorded on the odometer. He received a New Jersey title and registration a week later on May 11th. The car however remained stored and garaged. It was only driven occasionally for service work until being sold in July of 2011 at which time the total recorded mileage was 107 miles. The car was acquired by Ernst Axel of Syke, Germany which is about 20 kilometers south of Bremen. Mr. Ernst kept the car stored and un-driven until he sent the car to the Porsche service center north of Stuttgart for services and maintenance. This occurred in October of 2011. Total mileage was recorded as 129 miles.

Upon completion of all work, the car returned to for storage once again until April of last year when it was sold and acquired by Herbert Handlos of Österreich, Germany. He sent the car to RM Rückspiegel for services, maintenance and new tires. Total mileage at the time was recorded as 259 miles.

The car remained once again un-driven until being purchase by our company in May of this year. The car was stored prior to our purchase with another very special Porsche, a 1989 911 Speedster that was owned by the well known Porsche Factory racer Walter Röhrl. We purchased both vehicles at the same time. Walter also took the time to sign both the glove box and the gas cap of this 993 Carrera Cabriolet prior to it being sold.

Upon arrival in the States, we had this vehicle delivered to the Porsche Classic Center where it was carefully inspected and photographed and confirmed to be as delivered new, all matching numbers and now with just 275 original miles on the odometer.

This documented, three-owner from new Porsche is complete with full records, history from new, perfect CarFax, Porsche internal assembly records and all original delivery documents and records.
