I needed a drill bit stop collar so I decided to turn my own, it's an easy thing to buy but I wanted one that was a little more substantial and two locking screws. I'm using a Logan 400 metal lathe to turn the collar. I am no expert and have the lathe half for fun and half just to make things I need. I really enjoy working with the lathe and learning how to use it. Be sure to check out the links above for more lathe action. You may also be interested in my other videos which have a wide range of topics. I also have a website where I write short articles and sell woodworking plans, my ebook on making money and t shirts.
