August comeback woohoo!!

So while I was waiting for Red Velvet’s next comeback, I was looking around for a megamix of their songs. But every one I found was mostly just their title tracks. And I was thinking, "These are the queens of B-sides, why are all the megamixes title tracks only?"

And then I tried making this and I went "ohhh, that’s why."

This was hard.

First of all, I will apologize to anyone watching if this mashup isn’t the quality they expected. I personally love Red Velvet and I wish I could make a perfect mega mix to encapsulate their music, but unfortunately they don’t have a lot of high-quality acapellas to work with. It sucks because their vocals really are the main focus of their music, and I couldn’t keep them all sounding super clean, as much as I wanted to. And I don’t have HD pitching software like Izotope or anything outside of what Ableton Lite already offers, or even any real production experience, so making this sound good was already a challenge. Nonetheless, I hope I still did a good enough job that you all can enjoy it.

I also want to point out that in order to keep the video reasonably short, I couldn’t use very much of each song. Some songs got very few lines, or even no lines at all and just instrumentals. I apologize if one of your favorites barely got any time to shine, but I just couldn’t give them all equal time.

With all that said: please enjoy this video! I know it isn’t perfect but I did spend lots of time trying to make it as best I could. I appreciate everyone taking the time to watch!
