Today we talk about 2 reasons why there are white spots on your pavers. One is because of efflorescence. This is a byproduct of concrete where the presence of moisture brings minerals to the surface of the concrete. It usually works its way out of the concrete when there is a properly constructed base that drains, but in severe cases it may need to be cleaned. The other reason why there are white stains on your pavers is because of polymeric sand haze. This is caused by the remnants of polymeric sand remaining on the surface of the pavers and not blown off prior to activation.
