The Arathi Highlands is where the Arathorian Empire rose to prominence, back when the combined efforts of many human tribes joined as one single power, uniting under one banner to establish the very first human kingdom. Though much has changed since the Kingdom of Stromgarde was founded, the region remains locked in constant conflict. The war machines of the Horde and Alliance march ever onward as they did years before, but to what end, no one knows.
