Hudoq adalah tarian topeng. tak hanya sekedar kesenian daerah,bagi masyarakat suku bahau,tarian di dipercaya sebagai tarian kedatangan para dewa yang diutus sang pencipta kedunia. tujuannya untuk menjaga dan melindungi kehidupan dan tanaman padi yang baru ditanam. karna khawatir manusia bisa ketulahan,sakit bahkan meninggal bila melihat atau memandang langsung sosok wajah para dewa, maka '' nal-ing ledaang '' atau para pemimpin dewa. mengajak teman-temannya membuat topeng dari pohon kayu jelutung,jabon atau kitaaq serta membuat pakaian dari daun pisang yang disebut ''uraan'' untuk memenuhi seluruh tubuh mereka. selain itu, masyarakat suku bahau juga sangat percaya jika upacara adat hudoq memiliki manfaat yang luar biasa. salah satunya dapat menyembuhkan berbagai jenis penyakit hanya karena kibasan kostum daun pisang yang digunakan para penari hudoq.
